Watershift is a french association (law 1901) dedicated to reduce water consumption in the agricultural sector.
A human adventure
As a pioneer think and do tank in environmental economics and natural resources preservation, Vertigo Lab created the Watershift project to focus on water in wetlands. Back then, shifting sectors’ business models was the key challenge to ensure more water-efficient practices and improve businesses’ resilience to climate change.
In 2020, the MAVA foundation decided to support the Watershift project. Close after, BirdLife International and the IUCN also joined the Watershift adventure to bring wetlands conservation expertise.
We are now ready to act and deploy sustainable agricultural practices towards small and medium scale companies.
